Items such as any existing documents, family or friend’s contact information, death certificate (probate or trust administration cases) etc. can make the process so much smoother if received earlier in the intake process.
The holidays are a great time to have these conversations with those that we love about being in these “agent” positions in case of incapacity or death.
Estate planning is all about making it as easy as possible for your loved one you’ll leave behind. Please don’t look at it as such a harrowing conversation.
