Giving money away while alive assuming you don’t need it. A lot of our clients have worked very hard for their money and may have a credible need. So assuming that you have accumulated wealth that you would rather put to use in a charity or otherwise, this is for you.
In 2026, The federal exemption is going to be 15 Million, Maryland has low income tax rates.
We could do qualified charitable distributions up to $108,000 through your IRA once age 70.5.
You can do a one time charitable gift annuity of 54,000 and don’t pay tax out of your IRA.
We have donor advised funds where you can send mutual funds etc. You can also put money into 529 College Plans for grandchildren.
Give your assets while alive so you can enjoy seeing your children or other beneficiaries enjoying these assets.
