This is legislation effective October 1, 2026. It makes it so homeowners can transfer their home upon death without legal expertise.
For years we were preparing life of estate deeds with power to sell to accomplish the same thing.
We want to make sure the deed complies with the entire estate plan.
We like trusts because most of the assets are transferred as part of the whole process.
